About this project
The shop open and working: a full-width fascia sign over the frontage, downlights let into the soffit, cream wall panelling and printed instruction boards where customers can read them. Inside are top-load machines and stacked washer-and-dryer columns, with a payment kiosk on the wall; the entrance pier is clad in stone-effect panel and carries a round illuminated logo with a blue light strip. A second frame, taken inside against the timber panelling, shows each column labelled as washer or dryer with its own number, and coin and note slots set into the wall strip between the columns.
